Two Day Teapot Workshop with Jonathan Steele (Saturday August 16th 2pm-6pm and Sunday August 17th 9am-6pm)
This two-day workshop will cover the particulars of teapot design and craft for exceptional
performance in steeping and serving high quality loose-leaf tea. Through the presentation of
examples, demonstration of throwing and assembling components, and hands-on practice for
participants, Jonathan will share the intricacies of what makes a teapot work gracefully and how to
control these details in the making. I ask that workshop participants have the foundational skills of
the pottery studio already in place so we can jump right in!
