Come celebrate the start of berry season by making your very own berry bowls for gathering, washing, and eating. Led by ceramic artist Bryan Quintanilla of Boundary Layer Ceramics at Heirloom Ceramics. You'll hand build your own berry bowls - no experience required! Participants will spend the workshop making and decorating their own berry bowls. Participants then will choose a glaze at the end of the workshop and receive fully fired bowls.
All materials and tools provided.

Join us for a one day Artist talk and demonstration-based workshop with Casey Beck!
Casey Beck will share his various day to day studio processes both at the wheel and at the table. He will demonstrate his handbuilt plate making and the process of creating the bisque molds used for the plates. At the wheel he will demonstrate various forms, including cups, jugs and altered forms while sharing his thoughts on interior / exterior relationships and creating process information to add depth to the clay surface.
The Day will include an artist talk, demonstration, and hands on time to try out the Treadle Wheel!

This two-day workshop will cover the particulars of teapot design and craft for exceptional performance in steeping and serving high quality loose-leaf tea. Through the presentation of examples, demonstration of throwing and assembling components, and hands-on practice for participants, Jonathan will share the intricacies of what makes a teapot work gracefully and how to control these details in the making.
