Learn the foundations of wheel thrown pottery and other ceramic objects, no clay experience necessary!

4 Week Beginner Wheel: Cups and Cylinders

With Sara Hensel

In this course you will learn the basics of how to create cups and cylinders on the wheel, as well as how to trim and glaze your work. This course is a great fit for Beginners and anyone looking to hone in their throwing fundamentals!

8 Week Advanced Beginner Wheel: Developing Fundamentals

This 8 week continuing wheel course is designed for folks emerging from an introductory course! Build on your existing exposure to wheel vocabulary and process by deepening your practice, confidence, and proficiency. Expect in-depth demos, practice exercises, drills, and lots of feedback! We will focus on throwing cups, bowls, and plates, and practice glaze application and greenware surface treatments.
